Family Workshop (7-14): Story Papyrus photo
Step into the world of ancient Egyptian art in this hands-on workshop at Young V&A. Guided by museum staff member Julia Josephson, you will discover artistic techniques used by ancient Egyptian creators, explore museum objects and craft your own visual story, then bring your narrative to life on papyrus.


 Booking information:

  • This is a family workshop, where adults are required to participate alongside their children. Only children need to have tickets.
  • We recommend the ratio to be at least one adult per three children. We are not able to accommodate more than one adult per group.
  • This workshop is for children aged 7-14. We cannot allow younger siblings without tickets in the workshop room.
  • If you are no longer able to attend, please kindly let the V&A know so we can release your places. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer refunds in exceptional circumstances.
  • If the V&A needs to cancel the event due to an emergency, or for any reason beyond the control of the V&A, we will reschedule your booking for a later date or offer a refund.
