The Treasures of Burghley House (Livestream) photo
Join architectural historian John Martin Robinson and Miranda Rock, current custodian of Burghley House, in conversation with V&A Curator Kirstin Kennedy for an illustrated talk exploring one of England’s greatest Elizabethan treasures.

To celebrate their new book featuring photographs by Ashley Hicks, the talk will delve into Burghley’s rich architectural and family history, its magnificent interiors, and its evolution over four centuries. Miranda Rock will share personal insights into life at Burghley today, offering a unique perspective on the house’s preservation and continuing legacy and Robinson will discuss the historical background of this extraordinary house.

This talk will be streamed on Zoom and all ticketholders will receive a link to view the morning of the event. It will also be recorded for those not able to join live.
