Stealing like a creative: sharing lessons in creative practice

Participants will unpack the process and practice of Nourishment— considering how cultural resonance, insight-driven decision-making, collaborative ideation and digital interaction can facilitate engagement, online reach and audience development. A reflection on the methods and magic that make creative communities work.

This session will invite participants to respond to mood films; short, emotive video collages blending Nourishment’s own productions with work from London’s emerging creative communities. In an evolving dialogue, the session encourages immersion in these visual worlds, using their atmospheres, textures, and rhythms to spark discussion, inspire new ideas, and uncover lessons from thriving grassroots cultures.

Participants will leave with a personal bank of influences, ready to rework, remix, and make their own.

This event is for anyone living, working or studying in east London, aged 18+, emerging or established within the creative sector.

As part of the Ideas Exchange series of interactive talks, this event will be documented through film, photography and live artist interpretation.
